The governor of Rivers state, Governor Nyesom Wike, has once again unleashed another project in his state and his choice of invitees is one that will get the masses wondering. According to the governor, he has slated Monday the 14th November to Friday 2nd December, for the exhibition and commissioning of his new projects with some selected key political leaders and party leaders. His list includes, the nation’s president, President Muhammadu Buhari, the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, former National chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC), Mr. Adams Oshiomhole, the Emir of Kano, HRH Ado Bayero and a few others.
According to the governor, he has also assigned different roles to his invitees as well as dates to them. Each of these special guests is expected to come and commission their own assigned project on the date assigned to them.
The Emir of Kano, HRH Ado Bayero will set the ball rolling by commissioning a mega health project, Dr Peter Odili Cancer and Cardiovascular Diseases Diagnostic and Treatment Centre.
On the 15th, Mr. Adams Oshiomhole along with the APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will commision the Rumepirikom Flyover. While Mr Peter Obi is meant to take the Nkpolu-Oroworokwo Flyover in Port Harcourt on Wednesday the 16th of November.
President Buhari, who would be represented by one of his aides, will inaugurate the world-class Nabo Graham Douglas Campus of the Nigerian Law School, Port Harcourt, in the Obio-Akpor Local Government Area on the 18th of November.
