Ayo Oyalowo, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), has downplayed recent criticisms of Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate.
Last Friday, November 25, Tinubu made fun of Atiku’s repeated attempts to hold the nation’s top political position. The APC leader argued that Tinubu’s insults were only words and not as personal as they sounded, adding that they were part of the 2023 campaign’s intrigues and necessary to spice up the upcoming election. While the APC attacked Atiku at its presidential rallies and activities in Delta and Lagos, the PDP campaign team responded by saying Tinubu lacked the ability to lead the nation.
