The first A320 landing gear in-house overhaul completion is a major step for XIESA, demonstrating its ability to meet the needs of domestic airlines in China. Up to this point, XIESA had to offload their A320 repair and overhaul business.
This success comes after XIESA received the approvals from CAAC* in September 2021 and from EASA* in December 2021 to carry out the repair and overhaul of the Airbus A320 landing gears. This is in addition to the Maintenance Organization Approval that XIESA had already obtained from CAAC in 2019 and EASA in 2021 to repair and overhaul Boeing 737 landing gear.
In 2022 XIESA will quadruple its overhaul volume, and will then continue to grow in size year after year.
Founded in 2016, XIESA is now ready to offer a fast, responsive, reliable and cost-effective MRO support for Asian airlines and beyond, both on Boeing 737 and Airbus A320.
